U - 18.05.2024

Changed Your Mind?

We get it, sometimes repairs can get pricey (especially when the damage to your device was accidental and unexpected).

If your device has been fixed and you're unhappy with the repair / having issues with any serviced parts, check out our amazing
warranty, I'm sure we'll be able to help :) We are unable to refund any completed repairs.

At Solfixit, you reserve the right to change your mind if you no longer wish to proceed with the repair. If money has been taken and parts haven't been ordered / work hasn't begun (normally 2 hours after the booking), we will fully refund you.

But Solfixit, work has begun..

If work has begun, we may have used resources in the attempt to repair your device. Some parts, once fitted, cannot be reused and will be deducted from your refund.

This clause covers:

- Motherboard Repairs
- LCD Glass Refurbishments
- Laser Back Removals

To maximise your refund, please let us know ASAP.

What about if my repair isn't one of those?

If work has begun and your repair isn't one of the above, a mandatory diagnostic fee will be taken off your refund if the device was fixable and you simply changed your mind.

This diagnostic fee varies per device:

- iPhone: £29
- iPad: £39
- MacBook: £49
- Apple Watch: £39
- PlayStation(s): £29
- Other Devices: £29

Call-Out Cancellations

In addition to the above, if a Solfixit technician has been called out to your location and collected the device, where a distance fee was payable, this fee will also be taken off any amount refunded to you.

This also includes returning the device unless you choose to collect it from us. Collections are available from Tufnell Park Station, North London during working hours.

What if I'm no longer available for my Call-Out slot?

If you're no longer available for your Call-Out, Let us know ASAP. Once a technician has informed you they're on-route to your location, the distance fee is now payable. We always wait for confirmation before leaving.

If a Solfixit technician arrives at your location and you fail to answer, we will wait for a maximum of 15 minutes. After this, we must move on to the next customer.

In these circumstances, you will be classed as a no-show, resulting in the loss of your distance fee. This means you will need to pay the distance fee again to re-book your Call-Out.

What if I posted my device?

In addition to the above, if you posted your device, any postal fees involved will also be taken off your refund.

What if my device wasn't fixable?

If we are unable to fix your device for whatever reason, we will fully refund you.

Due to the nature of motherboard repairs, in the event we are unable to fix your device, we will fully refund you minus any un-reusable parts / components fitted to your board. We will confirm the amount before processing any refund.

Got it! So when can I expect my refund?

Refunds take 5-10 working days to process. We will refund you via the original method of payment. For successful reversal requests, please contact us for an Estimated Refund Amount.
