Terms & Conditions (Summarised)

You agree with/to or understand, that:

  1. you must be at least 16 years old to book a service with Solfixit.

  2. once your booking has been confirmed, If you change your mind, please let us know ASAP. If parts have been ordered / work has begun (normally around 2 hours after confirmation of payment), please refer to our refund policy.

  3. not showing up, rescheduling last minute, cancelling within 24hrs or not responding once a technician has reached your location will result in additional fees.

  4. with motherboard repairs, In the event we cannot fix the device, you will be fully refunded for repairs, minus the amount spent attempting to repair the device.

  5. If you book the 'Clean & Service' for your Playstation, in the unlikely event we cannot make the device dead silent, you will be fully refunded minus a £19 diagnostic fee.

  6. Solfixit charges a Call-Out distance fee if the location you select for repair sits more than 3 miles from Tufnell Park Station, North London. This is currently calculated at £1.69 per mile, to the nearest mile. Subject to adjustment.

  7. a repair with Solfixit may void your manufacturer warranty.

  8. liquid damage gets a reduced Warranty.

  9. you should back up your device before a repair with Solfixit. Solfixit is not liable for data loss.

  10. water-resistant devices will be less resistant after a fix. The adhesive is always replaced but water damage is NOT covered under warranty.

  11. bent / deformed devices may affect how fitted parts sit against the housing. When badly deformed, we may require the bend to be fixed before proceeding.

  12. UK available parts may take 1-3 days to arrive.

  13. imported parts may take 5-10 working days to arrive

  14. the cut-off for new orders is 15:00, Mon-Fri.

  15. the cut-off for Express, Next Day is 14:30.

  16. motherboard repairs can take up to 5-10 days to complete.​

  17. rudeness will not be tolerated by customers. We have the right to refuse repair under these grounds.

  18. Solfixit is not responsible for any damage where your device has been repaired elsewhere before your repair at Solfixit. If evident, we will contact you before proceeding.

  19. Solfixit rejects liability for any damage where your device has been repaired by a third party after a fix with Solfixit (this will void your 12 Month Warranty with us).

  20. Solfixit is not responsible for any problem resulting from damage that wasn't disclosed prior to the fix. We always take photos, videos and a full diagnostic throughout the repair process.

  21. Please triple-check the model of your device as no two devices are 100% the same on the inside. This means that parts for one device ARE NOT compatible with another (yes this includes the iPhone 5/5s, 6/6s, 7/8 & X/XS and Selected MacBooks). Incorrect identification of your device may result in delays and/or the loss of the cost of any parts ordered.

  22. customers who fail to collect their devices within 7 days from the end of service will be charged a storage fee of £5 per device, per week. Please collect your devices regardless of the outcome, we have limited space.

  23. we will send weekly reminders to encourage the collection of your device. Devices left uncollected over 12 weeks may be stripped down, sold or donated to charity. If you are struggling to clear your repair balance please let us know ASAP.
